Air Force ROTC PIR

Yey another Air Force event to put down in the books. I attended my first PIR (Pass in Review) at Det 157 here in Daytona Beach,FL. PIR is a formal way to showcase the troops to the commanding officers. During the event awards are given out for the year, and promotions are given to cadets moving up in the ranks. The show was great and it fun to watch the cadets give out orders and parade around the field. I'll see about getting some pictures up soon. They will be posted on this blog. So check back!

Air Force Dining Out

So tonight is another big night in the Air Force life. Air Force Dining Out. It basically represents the most formal aspect of Air Force social life. Yes I will be getting dressed up in a suit and tie. I'll try to get some pictures to post. This will be my second time at Dining out, and I'm sure as usual I will be the only male not in uniform sigh...always so awkward. Anyways I'm sure it's going to be a ton of fun. At least most everyone will know me this time around. I'll let you guys know how it all turns out. Until next time.....take it easy.

Facebook Connect

I've been playing around with Facebook connect. It is such a powerful tool for webmasters. I would highly recommend using it. I setup a basic comment box on the homepage which connect your account from Facebook to my website. Then allowing you to post a comment with your picture and allowing you to post the comment on your profile. I think it's pretty cool. Still have some issues minor issues with the styling and the way it looks. Hopefully I'll get that fixed shortly. Anyways, go post a comment and let me know what you think!

5 More Months at Publix

5 More long months at Publix until I finally leave for California. Hopefully i'll be leaving the 2nd week of September. Maybe there is some more of Florida I can explore before leaving this awful state and it's old retired population. Other than that not much is going on. Just the same old day in and day out stuff. I'll keep ya posted.
